1. The 4th of July Party On The River

Where: Hyatt Regency Cambridge || When: July 4th 4:00-10:00 PM

"Join Budweiser and RadioBDC at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge on Memorial Drive in Cambridge on the 4th of July for a Party on the River.

We’ll kick things off at 4 p.m., with plenty of ice-cold drinks, great food, games, prizes, and pre-fireworks music. And once the fireworks start? All you’ll have to do is walk across the street for a spectacular view. So celebrate America’s birthday with Budweiser at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge."

2. Watch the Fireworks from Harvard Bridge

Where: Harvard Bridge Cambridge, MA  || When: July 4th 10:30 PM

"The City of Boston closes off traffic to the bridge during the fireworks, and it overlooks the barges where the fireworks are set off. With ample space and a beautiful view of the Boston and Cambridge skylines, this spot is a winner. "


1. Songs of World War I with Doug Schmolze

Where: 167 Holland Street, Somerville || When: June 28th 10:30 AM

"The Somerville Council on Aging will host singer and guitarist Doug Schmolze at the Holland Street Senior Center. Schmolze will perform “Songs from World War I.” Lunch will be provided by the Mount Vernon Restaurant."

2. Independence Day Fireworks

Where: Trum Field (Broadway & Cedar St) || When: June 29 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM

"Join Mayor Curtatone for the Anniversary of 4th of July Fireworks with live entertainment. The entertainment lineup for the Fireworks includes performances by the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band, local Disco-Funk band Booty Vortex, and the Somerville Sunsetters, leading up to a 20-minute fireworks display beginning at approximately 9:15 p.m."

Admission is FREE.

3. Watch the Fireworks from Prospect Hill 

Where: Prospect Hill Somerville, MA || When: July 4th 10:30 PM

Prospect Hill in Somerville has a beautiful view of the Boston skyline, perfect for taking in the action. The bird’s eye view from the hill and its proximity to the harbor make it an excellent choice.
