Susan & Timothy Corcoran opened Black Ink in Boston’s Beacon Hill in 1994. The store was primarily an artistic stamp and fine paper store. With the success of their Boston location, the Corcorans expanded to a second location in Cambridge’s Harvard Square in 2002. Over the years, the store’s inventory has evolved to include a unique array of cards, toys, housewares, and other gifts.  Black Ink remains independently owned and operated with an abundance of small business pride.

The Black Ink in Harvard Square is the perfect store to pop in for a simple greeting card and leave with an armful of things you didn’t know you needed until you saw them. The staff is more than happy to help you navigate the store and tell you about new items. And they gift wrap!

With hundreds of unexpected necessities to sort through it’s best to give yourself plenty of time to shop.  For store hours, visit BlackInk.com and their Facebook page.
