Hoyt-Sullivan Playground in Somerville, MA

After an extensive renovation, Hoyt-Sullivan Playground in the Winter Hill neighborhood of Somerville reopened in August 2018. Designed and developed with direct input from the community, the park offers multi-level elements for playing and discovery with improved safety and materials. Shaded by a beautiful canopy of trees and framed by a bright orange circulation path for bikes, scooters, and ADA accessibility, there are lots of options for fun. Explore the rambling log climbers, interactive water and sand areas, swings, basketball court, cafe area, and balcony for observing passing trains in the rail below. Hoyt Sullivan Playground is located at 117 Central Street in Somerville and is open to the public 8am-10pm.
