Magoun Square is centered on the intersection of Broadway and Medford Streets, on the border of Medford and Somerville, Massachusetts. The intersection is six-ways, with signals for Dexter Street and a municipal parking lot, as well as the two major through streets. You will find a Dunkin' Donuts and CVS Pharmacy here. Welcome to New England!

The Magoun Square neighborhood is located between the Somerville neighborhoods of Powderhouse + Ball Square and Winter Hill.

Medford Street is the main commercial thoroughfare of Magoun Square. Here you will find Olde Magoun's Saloon with its big craft beer and spirits list. Across the street is Daddy Jones, a bar + restaurant serving Greek specialities.

Trum Field, a park featuring baseball diamonds and basketball courts, is located in the neighborhood. Numerous community events are held here – most notably the annual 4th of July fireworks. The Somerville Department of Public Works is located next to Trum Field.

In 2022, the Green Line Extension station at Lowell Street (next to Maxwell's Green) will open. Fittingly, the station stop will be known as Magoun Square.

The residential real estate in the Magoun Square neighborhood is a mix of single families, multi-families and condominiums. For sure, the emergence of the Green Line at Magoun Square will make the homes here that much more valuable.
