I love the YouTube video of alto saxophonist Godwin Louis playing his sax in Harvard Square in 2011.
Watching this 18 months into the pandemic, one cannot help but relish that much more the sight of people easily mingling and casually passing in the streets and in Harvard Yard.
The music speaks for itself. As do the old buildings in Harvard Square that are the backdrop to Godwin's soulful sound.
I look forward to meandering around Harvard Square once more when the pandemic is over.
The crossroads of Cambridge is at a crossroads in 2021. Time marches on. May there once more be the sound of music in the air.
